The easiest way to get to Tailgate Alaska is to fly into anchorage and make the 5 hour drive to Valdez. Not only will you see some amazing mountain ranges and glaciers, you will get a sense of what Alaska is like as well as being exposed to wildlife along the way. Please make arrangements to arrive with the MTNOPS staff so we can get you in a carpool for the ride.
